The new platforms for handheld publishing are being developed at a rapid rate. New generations of portable terminals with built-in mobile phones are just around the corner. Bandwidth is increasing dramatically.

Opera is developing mobile web browsers, Microsoft has a fully developed Explorer for PDA, but at present this only follows an approximation of the HTML 3.2 standard. Palm and Pocket-Pc can be used with Linator's PDA solution.

The development of new versions of web browsers for the mobile market will in all probability be free for all. Linator is monitoring developments closely and is adjusting the for PDA version so that it keeps up with developments in web browsers (and follows the W3C * standards where applicable.

* (W3C: The World Wide Web Consortium)

XML will probably be the format of the future for storage and data development. Linator supports this standard. Our primary objective has always been and will continue to be accessibility.
